The New Primary English Grade 2 is an integrated language course designed to develop and extend the language skills of pupils at Grade 2 (ages 7-8). The course addresses the syllabus requirements of the various Caribbean countries. Essentially it reflects a communicative approach to learning and teaching, focusing on pupils’ personal, social and academic needs. The skills of speaking, listening , reading, writing, thinking and viewing are developed through a variety of stimulating activities.
