The Grade Four Integrated Critical Thinking Workbook is carefully designed to assess the logical reasoning and thinking capabilities of students as they prepare for the Primary Exit Profile (PEP). An integrated approach is used in organizing the content for each test. This will allow for reinforcement of concepts taught in the other subjects areas. These fourteen Tests consists of forty items compile to reflect: analogies, numeral series, vocabulary building, de-coding, statistics, logical reading and visual discriminations. The layout of each test has multiple choice and completion items. Include in the book are also some fun activities such as find-a-word, puzzles and games. Teachers and parents should allow the students to explain their thoughts processes and reasoning in deciding the correct responses for the items in each test. We are confident that using this book will enable students to be better prepared for the ability test at the grade four level.
