Right Start Mathematics Integrated Workbook is designed to provide to stimulate and interest young children. The workbook will enrich and enhance mathematical concepts taught. A positive attitude towards mathematical learning begins in early childhood. Mathematics should be linked with everyday activities, e.g. while unpacking grocery items: discuss shapes, numbers, sizes, etc. to heighten student’s interests and awareness. The ‘right start’ will enable students to develop mathematical skills as well as Language and social skills while working with each other. The integrated approach presents opportunities for on-going development of mathematics. Games can be introduced at home and at school to reinforce skills taught. Students can be rewarded for their achievements. Help children develop reasoning skills by asking questions and listening to their answers. Develop a relationship between mathematics and other subject areas.
